Although only officially beginning in 2006, the idea for "New Zealand Beading Supplies" began in 2004. Kylie was finding it difficult to find good quality beads and tools at reasonable prices. We knew that there was probably a lot more people facing the same problem, so we decided that we needed to do something about it! "I used to find it very frustrating not being able to find the beads and supplies that I was looking for. And when I did, they were either too expensive, overseas or both. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay high prices for unique beads and good quality tools, to then have to pay ridiculous postage costs as well. As a Jewellery Designer, as you can imagine, I preferred to make jewellery than to spend time looking for suppliers and ordering more supplies. This meant I quite often found myself out of stock of something I needed urgently. Whether it was to complete a piece of Jewellery for a customer, or a stockist needing me top up my Jewellery cabinet in their store, either way I needed it quick, and ordering from overseas just wasn’t an option. I needed those supplies, and I needed them now! That’s when I decided to do my research! What I needed was to find a reliable, reputable supplier that I could order in large quantities, so I could then pass these savings onto others like myself. I spent countless months, which turned into years, locating high quality unique products and that’s how New Zealand Beading Supplies began” The aim of New Zealand Beading Supplies is to provide great service, good quality products and the variety and range that everyone is looking for.
